LowInputBreeds: Announcement of an Open Call for Additional Partners
An open call has been issued to recruit three additional partners for the LowInputBreeds project. Partners are requested to provide phenotypic data and pedigrees of dairy cattle, together with a description of the breeding structure in their countries.
Exclusively partners from International Cooperation Partner Countries (ICPC) from Mediterranean, North Eastern Europe, Northern Africa and Middle East regions are considered for the call. Funding is available from the European Union funded LowInputBreeds project.
To apply, candidates should send a description of available data and breeding programme details to Filippo Biscarini. The deadline for application is October 6th. The applications will be evaluated by international independent experts, and will be judged according to the quality and quantity of data to be provided.
