Swissgenetics SG is a worldwide bovine semen supplier and the market leader in Switzerland for bovine genetics (market share > 80%).

In 2008,  it produced more than 4.5 million units of semen, sold 1.4 million units in 51 countries worldwide and had a turnover of over 36 million Euros.

Swissgenetics pursues genetic programmes in Brown Swiss, Red Holstein, and Holstein for dairy breeds, as well as Swiss Original Braunvieh, and Swiss Original Simmental for dual-purpose breeds and samples over 200 bulls per year.
