March 15 and 16, 2011, Wageningen, The Netherlands

Ethical impact assessments (workpackage 5.2)

The ethical impact assessment will identify issues that are likely to result in concerns by key stakeholders.

This will be achieved through a study of relevant literature and interviews with key informants and through an initial input workshop involving selected stakeholders. The ethical impact assessment will furthermore evaluate the handling of these issues within the project.

This will be based on a final evaluation workshop, again involving selected stakeholders.

In March 2011, the First LowInputBreeds Symposium on Ethical Consideration in Livestock Breeding took place.
