Project consortium

The LowInputBreeds consortium pools expertise from 15 academic centres of excellence and 4 Small and Medium Enterprises and two large livestock breeding companies in eleven European, two International Co-operation Partner Countries (IPCP) and two industrialised third countries.

The project is coordinated by Newcastle University. The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) acts as scientific coordinator.
