The five subprojects of the LowInputBreeds project
The project work is organised in four subprojects (SP) with several work packages (WP) each and in four horizontal activities (= subproject 5).

Subproject 5.1: Economic and multi-criteria (e.g. environmental and food quality) impact assessment
Subproject 5.2: Ethical impact assessments
Subproject 5.3: Training of early stage researchers and agricultural advisors/technologists
The substantial expertise of senior researchers in the LowInputBreeds consortium to and the project's deliverables will be used to fulfil the following objectives:
- Design and deliver a series of specialist training workshops for early stage researchers and agricultural advisors/technologists to address major gaps in the current training provision in Europe and
- Organise exchange programmes for scientists involved in the LowInputBreeds project.
Subproject 5.4: Dissemination and technology transfer to stakeholder communities
The objectives of this activity are to:
- Design, establish and manage the project dissemination website; this will include the production of 6 monthly newsletters.
- Organise the LowInputBreeds stakeholder conferences in years 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the project; this will include the production of conference proceedings
- Produce a “Handbook for Organic and ‘Low Input’ Animal Breeding and Management” at the end of the project.
